Who We Are

Papa’s Organic Plants is an offspring of Marion Gardens, Organic Herbs. Marion Gardens, has been growing herb and vegetable plants on the tip of Long Island’s North Fork since 1987 and in 2007 went to 100% Certified Organic production. They sell wholesale to many garden centers.

Over the years, family members have offered on-site retail sales to local residents and those willing to visit. With the increased demand for locally sourced certified organic plants, new family members have decided to make a major expansion to our retail store, now known as Papa’s Organic Plants.

We have recently completed our 1,500 sq. ft. of dedicated outdoor space for display of 400+ varieties of certified organic herb and vegetable plants. Plants are grown on the premises and a fresh supply is practically endless. We offer more than the largest selection of certified organic herb and vegetable plants, but a North Fork experience you will want to tell your friends and family about. A visit here will be worth a trip from anywhere!

We are firm believers that it is best to “grow your own food”. With supermarket prices soaring you and your family can grow your organic food in a garden, raised beds or containers. The choices are limitless.
